IFEBP 61st Employee Benefits Conference offers education and networking opportunities

The International Foundation of Employee Benefits and Plans (IFEBP) 61st Employee Benefits Conference in Honolulu, HI on November 8-November 11 was a non-stop, action packed conference where you have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of current and prospective clients from across the nation.

The conference is set up to offer attendees the opportunity to gain valuable education at the many breakout sessions and also offers them the chance to mingle with best in class service vendors.

“There are not many times when you have everyone in one place,” said Shelley Grace, executive vice president of sales and marketing. “It’s really more about connecting with our customers where it’s convenient for them.”

Many people have come to trust and know the name Dialysis Cost Containment (DCC, Inc), but now our company, Renalogic, provides so much more than that. Renalogic exhibited at booth 1029, and our team showcased the first program in the US to provide an end-to-end chronic kidney disease management solution.

Sally Reppucci attended health care sessions, and felt there was a lot of valuable insight from the wellness presentations.

“Dr. David Sobel’s presentation brought into focus the importance of understanding what members best relate to. He also stressed how critical it is to have members that you are trying to engage feel like they have some control over the changes that they are making, in order to successfully bring about behavioral change,” said Reppucci. “Another important aspect of his talk is how important it is to be fully present when dealing with members at any level, and that we all have the ability.”

There’s a lot of things that employers can be doing to incentivize members to become healthier, and we are always looking for ways to do that within Renalogic’s chronic kidney disease management program.

Sherri Tetachuk, Brian Kruse and Shelley Grace talked with board members, trustees and benefits administrators about the staggering costs of dialysis and end-stage renal disease. We heard it over and over again from those who’ve seen the effects of catastrophic claims.
