SIPAC kicks-off inaugural fundraising campaign in Oklahoma

The Self-Insurance Political Action Committee (SIPAC) launched its inaugural national dinner fundraising campaign at Broadway 10 Restaurant in Oklahoma City. SIIA President & CEO Mike Ferguson was joined by 10 association members for the first of 14 dinners scheduled this spring at some of the best restaurants in cities across the country.

This single event raised $11,500 for SIIA’s political contribution arm.

“What a great start for the SIPAC fundraising campaign!” said Tom Belding, president of Professional Reinsurance Marketing Service and member of the event host committee. “Everyone had a great time and really understood why it was so important to support the cause.”

The host committee also included, Charlie Caldwell, CEO of Midlands Management Corp., Marc Marion, Vice President with American Fidelity Assurance, and Jerry Messick, CEO of Elevate Captives.

“I had a wonderful evening and enjoyed the fantastic company. I am thrilled to be able to help support the self-funded industry,” said Sherri Tetachuk.

SIIA would like to thank everyone who made this event a success, and looks forward to its next dinner in Charlotte, NC, tomorrow night.
