This Virtual Meeting video Conferencing Terms of Use and Privacy Notice applies to individuals participating in and individual member to nurse or group video conferences hosted by Renalogic or Specialty Care Management (“Virtual Meetings”). We do need to have some basic rules for participating to make sure this is a valuable and enjoyable experience for everyone. By continuing to participate in a Virtual Meeting you agree to this Terms of Use and Privacy Notice.

What are Virtual Meetings?

A Virtual Meeting is an individual or group video session provided by Renalogic or Specialty Care Management ( “we” or “us”). A Virtual Meeting will provide education about managing and avoiding chronic kidney disease (“CKD”), oncology, infusion or other clinical support. Virtual Meetings are provided as a benefit under your employer’s health plan to eligible and active participants in the offered programs. If you are working with a Case Manager in RenalAdvocate, RenalCare, ImpactOncology, Impact Infusion or any other of our clinical Programs you are eligible to participate in Virtual Meetings.

All Virtual Meetings are invitation-only. Some Virtual Meetings are for specific participants. Others are open to all eligible participants and filled on a first-come, first-placed basis. Each Virtual Meeting has an administrator and may include presentations from other parties.

How do I participate in a Virtual Meeting?

In order to participate in a Virtual Meeting you will need a standard personal computer or laptop running standard software (Windows or Apple) with an Internet connection. Your computer will need a video camera, microphone and speaker. Your computer’s standard equipment should work fine, or if you prefer you can use accessory equipment if you have it.

Virtual Meetings will be presented over through Doxy.me and you will be provided with an individual access link

Before you log-in to a Virtual Meeting please set up your computer or laptop some place where you can see and hear the Virtual Meeting comfortably and without being interrupted. You may want to be sure there are no pictures, documents or other items you don’t want seen in your video background. For some Virtual Meetings you may invite a family member or friend who supports you with your health issues to join you. Please don’t let anyone you don’t invite view or overhear the Virtual Meeting, to help protect the privacy of other participants.

If you have technical problems or concerns about the Virtual Meeting or any other participants for a group session you will be able to “chat” privately with the Virtual Meeting administrator or contact your nurse via email. Harassing or inappropriate comments or activities may result in the administrator terminating a participant’s access to the session.

This means that when you participate, some of your personal information will be seen and heard by your nurse coach or for a group session, other participants in the session. This includes your first name, video of you and your location, your voice, and any specific personal information in your video or comments (“Virtual Meeting Information”).  Likewise, you will be seeing and hearing the same kinds of personal Virtual Meeting Information about other participants in a group session, as well as any supportive friends or family members they have invited.

We cannot control how participants may use or disclose Virtual Meeting Information they may learn during the Virtual Meeting for a group session. For this reason please limit the Virtual Meeting Information you share during the Virtual Meeting, and please respect the privacy of any Virtual Meeting Information shared by other participants.

By participating in a Virtual Meeting you authorize us to disclose your Virtual Meeting Information to other participants in the Virtual Meeting, during the Virtual Meeting and for purposes of participation in the Virtual Meeting. This authorization will expire at the end of the Virtual Meeting.
